20130608 Aqua - Cartoon Heroes

2013년 6월 8일 오늘의 곡은 Aqua의 Cartoon Heroes입니다. Aqua는 1997년에 덴마크에서 결성된 댄스 팝 그룹으로 우리나라에서도 바비걸로 유명하지요. 1997년에 데뷔앨범 Aquarium은 전세계적으로 히트한 앨범인데요. 영국차트 6위, 빌보드차트 7위, 그리고 유럽전역에서 큰 인기를 끌며 세계적인 그룹으로 떠오릅니다. 2000년에 발매한 2집  Aquarius도 1집의 인기에는 미치지 못하지만 나름 큰 성공을 거두지요. 특히 타이틀곡 Cartoon Heroes는 우리나라에서 많은 사랑을 받은 곡입니다. 이 곡 외에도 Around The World, Freaky Friday, Bumble Bee 등이 차례대로 인기를 얻었지요. 제가 부산에서 재수 기숙학원에 다닐때 아침마다 이 노래를 틀어줘서 짜증났던 기억이 나네요. 그래도 지금 들으니 그때 추억이 떠오릅니다.
