2013년 3월 6일 오늘의 곡은 Shakespears Sister의 Stay입니다. 1992년 발표된 곡으로 영국차트에서 8주동안 1위에 올랐던 곡이죠. 뮤직비디오가 참 재밌는 구성인데요. 누워있는 한남자를 두고 여자 두명이 난리치는 장면이 압권입니다. 저승에서 온 사녀(死女)와 남자의 애인인 여자를 표현하는것 같네요. 노래또한 처음에 발라드부분부터해서 중간에 반전하는 멜로디까지 정말 좋습니다. Shakespears Sister는 Venus로 유명한 Bananarama 출신의 시오반 파헤이가 미국출신의 기타리스트 겸 보컬리스트 마르셀라 디트로이트와 결성된 듀오입니다. 그룹이름은 The Smith의 동명의 노래제목에서 따왔다고 하네요. 원래는 Shakepeare's Sister인데 앨범 커버작업하던 사람이 오타를 내서 Shakespears Sister로 됐다고 합니다; 즐감하세요!
