20130307 Spandau Ballet - True

2013년 3월 7일 오늘의 곡은 Spandau Ballet의 True입니다. 처음 전주의 아 하하~ 하아아~~부분만 들어도 다들 아실 만한노래죠. 영화, CF 등에 많이 삽입됐던 유명한 노래입니다. 제가 태어난 해에 나온노래네요. 어쩐지 정이 가더라 했지요. 들으면 예전 어릴때의 추억이 생각나기도 하고 따뜻한 하와이의 트로피칼한 느낌이 생각나기도 하고 첫사랑의 아련한 기억이 떠오르기도 하고 여러모로 슬프기도 하면서 따뜻한 느낌이 드는 좋은 노래 같습니다. Spandalu Ballet은 1979년에 결성된 영국밴드로서 New Romantic음악을 표방하며 뉴웨이브 시대를 이끌어 간 그룹입니다.  그룹이름은 그들의 친구 Robert Elm이 베를린을 방문했을때 나이트클럽 벽의 낙서에서 착안했다고 하네요. Spandau라는 감옥소의 죄수들이 교수형을 당할때의 몸을 떨며 점프하는 것이 마치 발레같아서 붙여진 이름이라고 합니다. 좀 섬찟..최근 2009년에 재결성되어 활발한 활동을 하고 있다고 하네요. http://youtu.be/xtiA5cFh2vk 세월의 흔적이 느껴지지만 여전히 멋지네요.
