Badly Drawn Boy는 데이먼 마이클 고의 원맨 밴드로서 영국의 인디 싱어송라이터입니다. 영화 About A Boy의 OST로서도 유명하지요. 2000년 데뷔앨범 The Hour Of Bewilderbeast로 영국차트 13위를 기록하며 잔잔한 히트를 기록합니다. 데뷔앨범중에서도 Once Around The Block은 세번째 싱글로 뮤직비디오로서 더 유명합니다. 1994년 멕시코에서 일어났던(뮤직비디오 끝부분에도 언급) 실제 사건을 재구성해서 만든 뮤직비디오로서 치아 교정을 한 두 남녀가 키스를 벌이다 그만 철교정틀들이 끼이는 바람에 Badly Drawn Boy의 도움으로 병원을 방문하게 되는 이야기네요. 저도 어릴때 교정한 입장으로서 철 교정틀을 할때 의 아픔을 잘 알지요. 음식 잘못먹었다가 엄청끼이기도 하고 철갈아끼울땐 어찌나 아프던지 ㅠ 엄청 치아가 찡한 느낌에 밤에 잠도 못잤던 ㅠ 하여튼 노래도 잔잔하고 편안한 느낌으로 기분 좋아지는 곡입니다. 즐감하세요!
